Google Wave (Labs) available for Google Apps: "Google Wave is a new web application designed to make groups of people more productive when communicating and working together. In Google Wave, everything takes place in flexible, hosted conversations known as waves. Waves are shared spaces on the web that update live as you type and support rich media and real-time gadgets.

Today, Google Apps admins can give their users access to the Google Wave preview through Apps. Domain administrators can turn Google Wave through the control panel and users can sign in at http://wave.google.com/a/[yourdomain.com].

Add or Change the Album Art of Your Choice Manually

If some of your albums are missing album art or if you want to replace existing art with your own, you can manually add a picture of your choice. When you do so, the picture is embedded into the file, and the Player will always show the embedded file as the album art (as opposed to any album art that the Player may have downloaded from the online database).

To add album art to all songs in an album

1. Click the Library tab, and then browse to the album that is missing art.

2. Using either Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer, in another window, find a picture that you want to use for album art (the picture can be in a file on your computer or on a Web page), right-click the picture, and then click Copy.

   

   The original picture can be in any of the following formats: BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, or TIFF.

3. In your library, right-click the album art box, and then click Paste Album Art.

   

   A copy of the picture is embedded into each of the songs from that album. The copy of the picture is automatically scaled to the appropriate size and converted to the JPEG format before it is embedded in the file. The original picture file is not modified.

   If you cannot add album art manually, verify that you have permission to modify the file. For example, right-click the file, click Open, right-click the file again, and then click Open File Location. In the folder, right-click the file, click Properties, and then clear the Read-only check box if it is selected.

QR Code: Your Smart Phones says “I can read this”

A QR Code is a matrix code (or two-dimensional bar code) created by Japanese corporation Denso-Wave in 1994. The "QR" is derived from "Quick Response", as the creator intended the code to allow its contents to be decoded at high speed.

QR Codes are common in Japan, where they are currently the most popular type of two dimensional codes. Moreover, most current Japanese mobile phones can read this code with their camera. Purvanchal’s (UP East) First SEZ

A private developer Hari Fertilisers Ltd got the approval from the Union Ministry of Commerce for an SEZ at Sahupuri (about 15-km from Varanasi) in Chandauli. But the UP State Industrial Development Corporation (UPSIDC) is yet to get the land for development of Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in between Varanasi and Bhadohi.It will be the first SEZ in Purvanchal (Eastern Uttar Pradesh) for handicrafts, handloom silk and carpet that see an annual export of Rs 4000-crore.

Revised Date: JEE B. Ed. 2010 (Uttar Pradesh)

June 19th, 2010 is the new date for the cancelled B. Ed. date as declared by Lucknow university, which is organising JEE B. Ed. 2010 in Uttar Pradesh.

The examination was scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2010 with about 6.5 lakh candidates had applied for the test.

Earlier, Lucknow university Vice Chancellor, GP Triphati said that new date of B.Ed entrance exam will be announced soon. The decision to cancel entrance exam was taken after police arrested eight people in Farrukhabad district with B.Ed entrance papers. Meanwhile, Police have been interrogating arrested people to reveal the exact source and kingpin involved in paper leak.

According to University there is no change in Examination Center and same(old) admit card will be used for the examination.
